Is a custom closet storage system worth it? I had never given custom
closet storage much thought when I was a bachelor; however, when my
wife got involved with the design of our dream house, custom closet
storage and organization became a major issue.

At first, I resisted and only wanted standard wire shelving for closet
storage. That had worked for me in the past. My wife, however,
insisted on custom closet storage with a design consultant for maximum
organization! I balked at the expense, but I have to say that in the
end the custom closet storage was worth it.

So much closet space can be wasted if someone doesn't really take time
to analyze and design the storage and organization. This is
particularly true if your closet ceilings are sloped, like mine are.

Extra drawers, shoe racks, multi-level closet rods, multiple
shelves... You get the idea.

I would encourage anyone to seek out custom closet storage, if the
budget allows!
