Demolition and Gutting a House

-I hired a demolition company to gut a 1935 house that I recently renovated.  The walls were plaster/lathe, and it was a big, messy, dusty job that I would never have been able to do myself.

Whoever is removing plaster should wear eye protection and a ventilation mask to protect against the floating dust particles.

I made a big mistake by not covering up the air ducts before the demolition started.  Some of the debris made it into the air ducts by accident, and some of it was put there intentionally by a workman who didn't feel like carrying it downstairs!

Learn from my mistake and cover your air ducts during demolition.
