Using Outdoor Flooring Indoors

I generally try to avoid using the same flooring indoors that I use outdoors. Outdoor flooring almost always makes some sacrifices in exchange for greater durability. It is generally "colder" feeling and just doesn't seem to look right indoors.

If I was going to try to have a pleasant segue between indoor floor and outdoor floor, I would approximate colors and texture, if possible.

That said, if you are set on using the same material, I would use tile, which looks good inside as well as outdoors.
