John graduated from Harvard University in 1990, then from University of Michigan Law School in 1994. After working for United Dominion Realty Trust as an acquisitions analyst, John began working for his family’s apartment business, Woodall Corporation, in 1998. In 2000, John became CEO of Woodall, which owns and operates apartment complexes and commercial property in Virginia and North Carolina. John has been building and renovating houses in Atlanta since 2000. He built his personal residence, which was on the 2005 Hills Tour of Homes.
John teaches a course entitled “Save Time and Money in House Renovation” for Emory University’s continuing education program. He also teaches a similar course for the Atlanta JCC.
A member of the Virginia Bar and a licensed Georgia Real Estate Broker, John resides in Atlanta, Georgia, USA with his wife and daughter.
