Metro Comfort Masters of Atlanta/Stockbridge Very Bad Review -- Breach of Contract

Intro:

Through my years as builder/remodeler I have worked with dozens and dozens of contractors without any major problems, but Metro Comfort Masters of Atlanta (and Stockbridge) wronged me to such an extent that I must warn other homeowners!

They installed the hvac units for my new home improperly, and when I requested repairs while still under warranty, they did not even respond to my repeated phone calls or emails.  I strongly recommend that my readers avoid Metro Comfort Masters.

Details:

1)Metro Comfort Masters of Atlanta/Stockbridge improperly installed the hvac condensation line.  A portion of it was NOT EVEN CONNECTED! So, a few weeks after moving into the new house, we had a huge water leak through the freshly painted ceiling.  We had to tear the drywall out, remediate a mildew problem, and go through the hassle of reinstalling drywall and repainting.

2)Metro Comfort Masters of Atlanta and Stockbridge did not even insulate the hvac condensation line when it passed through the exterior wall!  So when the temperature outside got below freezing, the water in the line froze and the unit automatically turned off.  With two small children and NO HEAT, this was a major problem!

3)Metro Comfort Masters of Atlanta and Stockbridge, Georgia did not properly install the heating air ducts to my daughter's room so that it was 5 DEGREES COLDER than the rest of the house!

Breach of Contract:

I had a clear one year warranty with Metro Comfort Masters of Atlanta/Stockbridge, and yet they have simply ignored me.  Incompetent installation, poor service, and breach of contract mean a lawsuit will be in their future.  Fortunately, I'm a lawyer.

Update:

A woman named Stephanie L. saw my review and sent me this description of her endless problems with Metro Comfort Masters:  (she authorized publication).  I also heard from Tony G (see above) that he won a court case against Metro Comfort Masters and is trying to collect damages.
