Vinyl Windows

I have only used wood windows in my home remodeling projects, but I
would not hesitate to use vinyl windows if the situation called for
it.  I have hears good things about some vinyl window manufacturers:
Pella, Anderson and Marvin to name a few.

I would make sure that the vinyl windows that I select are installed
by a very capable installer.  If they are not installed properly,
vinyl windows (or any window for that matter) will possibly leak or
not function properly.

I prefer the look of wood windows, but I think vinyl windows can look
just fine, too.  I guess it's a matter of personal preference.  If I
were going to work with vinyl windows, my personal preference would be
to stick with a major brand manufacturer just to have an extra
reassurance about quality.

Good luck with your vinyl windows!
